After completing my doctoral and post-doctoral training, I joined the faculty of the Weill Cornell Medical College, with clinical appointments at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. There, I worked with children, adolescents and adults with severe psychopathology in outpatient, day hospital and inpatient settings. I have also received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute as well as training in Collaborative Problem Solving at Massachusetts General Hospital with Stuart Ablon, Ph.D. I have experience teaching and supervising advanced doctoral students in psychology, social workers and child psychiatry residents.
I have published numerous book chapters and journal articles on child and adolescent social and emotional development, including peer relationships and social skills; and self-esteem and depression.
